The Something and Nothing of Death
'a book to read before you die'

Will Parfitt
PS Avalon, 2008
ISBN: 978-0-9552786-4-8
£10.00 (9.00 with 10% discount)
Death is ever present throughout life and the more we learn to face this fact the more death
becomes a friend and ally, a wise advisor who encourages us to live life more fully. To make a relationship with death is
to make a commitment to self-evolution and growth.
To face death confers inner strength for it brings us more authentically into the moment, into the fullness of our lives; in other words,
it brings us closer to freedom. Living wisely is to prepare for dying well, not for some promise of what will happen
after death but because living wisely brings its own merit.
The Something and Nothing of Death is a source of inspiration, enabling you to face the prospect of death with a new spirit of inquiry.
Through increased understanding and the lessening of unconscious fears, you can make a positive, life-enriching change to your perspective on and relationship with death.
Usual Me
The rants and ramblings of a psychotherapist

Geoffrey Windham
PS Avalon, 2007
ISBN: 978-0-9552786-2-4
£10.00
Brimming full with cutting-edge psychology
from the mind of a insightful psychotherapist, Windham's book takes the
reader beyond the rants and ramblings of a psychotherapist into a deep inquiry
not only into psychology but the very meaning of life itself.
Windham, in this ground-breaking book, explores whether we can recognise
each other and ourselves as embodied human beings, fearful of our mortality,
wary of each other, yet connected and defined by otherness? The author explores
how sharing and even celebrating the commonality of our humanity moves us
through the familiar towards what we already knew but did not dare to admit.
This is where the parallel lines meet, a by-product of speaking the language
of intimacy.

£13.00 (20% discount £10.40)
'Will Parfitt has done an admirable job of distilling the essence of Psychosynthesis
into a communicable, palatable form.'
(Alexis du Pont de Bie,American Board of Master Educators)
'A splendid book and well written.' (Edith Stauffer, President, Psychosynthesis
International)
Psychosynthesis is a practical system that
integrates principles and techniques from many approaches to personal and
spiritual growth. It is not about the application of techniques, however,
but learning to live with a vision that comes from deep within oneself and
how to bring this vision into everyday life in a meaningful way.
This new, revised edition of Psychosynthesis: The Elements and Beyond takes
the reader into deep explorations of the psychospiritual and transpersonal
realms in a practical way and reveals Psychosynthesis as the psychology
of choice for now. The relevance of Psychosynthesis is emphasised not just
for the individual but also for the larger world in which we live.

Breaking the Spell arose from Rachael's own
journey of recovery from low self-esteem as well as many years of working
as a counsellor and therapist. She shares techniques she developed to help
herself and which have proven highly successful with her clients. It draws
on a variety of approaches;- cognitive behavioural methods, Twelve-Step
recovery work, spiritual and creative techniques.
Breaking the Spell aims to put its ideas across in a direct and accessible
manner. Rachael has worked in a variety of settings, including addiction
recovery and GP surgeries and has had to find the language to meet the needs
of a wide range of people, with differing degrees of life experience, and
awareness.
By sharing her own experience, Breaking the Spell has a sense of equality
and aliveness as well as depth. It explains how self-esteem operates and
offers ways of breaking destructive behaviour patterns. Each chapter contains
creative activities for developing a healthier and more loving sense of
self.
The book is illustrated with Rachael's pertinent and witty cartoons.
