'a book to read before you die'
If you have any problems ordering any PS Avalon books
contact us:
The first point to consider is whether your
work fits into either of our two areas of interest for publication:
• inspirational poetry
many different forms of poetry may be considered inspiring, from deeply
spiritual free verse to humourous sonnets, but in some way or another it
has to induce an experience of 'something more' than just the mundane, to
awaken a reader to the realm of the senses, or inspire him or her on their
own life journey.
You will need a body of work enough to fill a volume of at least 80 pages
as we do not publish poetry booklets.
• personal and spiritual development
As well as the more obvious self-help and instructional books that come
under this heading, we also may include autobiographical accounts, memoirs,
children's stories, family histories, and legacy writing, as long as it
has a relevance to the theme.
Books can be of any size and include b&w illustrations, diagrams, etc.
We usually produce paperbacks, but hardback editions can be considered.
Yes…
then consider next whether you are willing to put time, effort and personal
resources into supporting the publication and sales of your book.

plus any subtitle etc
One or two straightforward sentences describing your book or poems.
A sentence or two telling us what makes the work worth publishing?

in the case of poetry, no more than 100 lines;
in the case of prose, no more than 1000 words.
Do not send attachments, they will not be considered.
Send your brief proposal and specimen to PS Avalon Publishing and we will
respond as soon as we have considered your submission.

If we wish to further consider your work for publication we will let you
know the next step to take for submitting a fuller synopsis and sample.
